They were the first to introduce beautiful preset of filters that we would actually use and it became super trendy. Founded in 2011 by Joel Flory and Greg Lutze, VSCO has pioneered our mobility at editing and stepping up our photography game. I have been using VSCO ever since their early days and even still now.
What are my experiences with both applications from the pros, cons and what I think is their "forté" with today's wide variety of tools contributing to ultimately be part of your photography process. In this article, I will be sharing my own comparison of two photo editing apps that I dearly love: Lightroom CC and VSCO. You can also filter on albums just like before, but now use these new filters when browsing your albums to find exactly what you want to edit. The revamped filter helps easily find media by type (photos or videos), by edited or unedited content, and by favorites. This is where any unfinished or in-process edits will live - and you can easily navigate back here to pick up exactly where you left off. You’ll see the photos and videos from your camera roll automatically populate in the Studio - simply click on what you’d like to edit, and go! Drafts & FilteringĪt the top of the Studio, you’ll notice a “Drafts” tab. You now can access all the content on your phone’s native photo app without the need to import them first.
